This study further discusses the relationship between brace-wearing time and treatment outcomes, suggesting that in idiopathic scoliosis brace treatment, wearing more than 18 hours/day may still be associated with better outcomes; but exactly how many hours to wear each day cannot be decided by online experience alone. It should be set jointly by the doctor and bracing team, combining the angle, growth stage, progression risk, what is feasible in daily life, and the treatment goals.
