This study helps explain that although the Cobb angle is a very important measure in scoliosis assessment, it is not an “absolutely zero-error” number; different doctors, different measurement methods, and especially end-vertebra selection can all cause some angle difference. So at follow-up one should pay more attention to the overall trend than to a one- or two-degree change in a single measurement.
